No. taxvak gets everything ready; you or your preparer file the return. Filing stays with the people and software you already trust.
Is this tax advice?
No. We organize your documents, point out things worth asking about, and show estimates clearly labelled as estimates. Decisions about your return belong to you and your tax professional.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes, all of it: the website, the app, your checklist, reminders and emails. The package comes in both languages, so any preparer can read it.
Can I add my spouse's documents?
Yes. Add your spouse and dependents to your household and every document is tagged to the person it belongs to — so filing jointly or separately are both easy.
I file with tax software myself. Does it still help?
Yes. The package is plain files — your original documents, a summary and a spreadsheet index — so it works with any tax program, or with any preparer.
What happens to my documents after tax season?
We keep them for 3 years by default — about how long the IRS usually has to ask questions about a return — unless you delete them sooner. Deleting is a button, not a request.
Who can see my documents?
Only you, and anyone you choose to share with. Sharing needs your explicit consent each time, and you can remove access whenever you want.
